One Grog Pop Mug

Bold and bright, these brand new mugs are fun departure from my other lines of work. I first create the coloured grog by bisque firing casting clay and then crushing it up. I have pressed these chunks into my clay body, which is then layered with additional coloured casting clay in my plaster molds. The texture has been inlayed with a deep teal stain matching the bottom of the mug, complimenting the coral handle and grog pieces. Most mugs have a small grog highlight continuing over rim.

Each mug is unique and one of a kind and will vary from the photographs.
